Columbus's founding craft brewery — home of the legendary Bodhi double IPA.
One of Ohio's oldest craft breweries, Columbus Brewing Company was founded in 1988 and has been a cornerstone of the Columbus beer scene ever since. Their IPA is the best-selling craft IPA in central Ohio, and the seasonal Bodhi double IPA — a citrus-forward, hazy juggernaut — is a two-week phenomenon each spring that draws lines around the block. The Short North taproom is a gathering place for Buckeyes of every generation, and the brewery's community investment in Columbus is as notable as its beer.
